Silver Falls State Park

Over spring break I went up to visit my brother in Oregon, one of the days we went hiking in Silver Falls State Park, a hike that takes you past 10 waterfalls. It was stunning to say the least. The light shining through the falls made the water glitter and at the bottom of the falls where the water pounded against the rocks creating a field of mist the light caught that mist and reflected and refracted and dispersed through the water droplets creating rainbows. The lighting filtering through the trees in the forest created a soft blanket of light above us and silhouetted the tall trees above us.
